VA Hosts Women Veterans’ Health Fair

The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) will host three Women Veteran Health Fairs on May 15, 2012 from 5 – 7 p.m. and May 16, 2012 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Women’s Clinic on 228 Sunbridge Avenue in Fayetteville and on May 17, 2012 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Mount Vernon, MO Community Based Outpatient Clinic at 600 N. Main Street in Mount Vernon, MO.

“We are excited to be able to provide high quality health care for all of this nation’s Veterans, including Women Veterans,” said Mark A. Enderle, M.D., Medical Center Director. “The Women Veterans’ Health Fairs affords an important opportunity to answer questions and provide valuable information about VA benefits and services.”

All women who served in the military are invited to attend this event. Representatives from VHSO’s Women’s Clinic will be available to answer questions regarding eligibility, benefits, education, readjustment, compensation and medical care for women Veterans. In addition all three sessions will provide information on various women specific health topics.
